SOUTHEAST MISSOURI (News First) – Governor Mike Parson will visit the area this week. Wednesday morning at 11:15, Governor Parson will be in Rolla at Brown Veterinary Clinic for a ceremonial bill signing of Senate Bill 1453, which designates the Dr. Dan Brown Memorial Highway in Phelps County. Then on Thursday morning at 9 at the St. Louis Fraternal Order of Police Hall in Manchester, Governor Parson will hold a ceremonial bill signing of Senate Bill 754 which modifies provisions related to public safety. 

The governor will then travel to Cape Girardeau to participate in the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce’s State of the Community Luncheon on Thursday at noon at the Drury Conference Center. Following the luncheon, Governor Parson will hold a signing of his book No Turnin’ Back. Governor Parson will end his Thursday at the Fisher Delta Research Appreciation Dinner in Gobler in Dunklin County He will be at the Elk Shoot Lodge at 5:30.
