The second-place St. Louis Cardinals will begin a three-game series tonight (Tuesday) at Busch Stadium against the first-place Milwaukee Brewers. Even if the Cardinals sweep the series, it wouldn’t put much of a dent in the Brewers’ current 11-game lead over the Birds. 8-6 Eric Fedde gets the start for the Cardinals while Milwaukee counters with 5-8 Frankie Montas in tonight’s (Tuesday) series opener. The first pitch is at 6:45 p.m.
