There are high hopes for the Missouri Tigers football team as the new season is almost here. The Associated Press Preseason Poll has Mizzou 11th in the country. If that holds, there’s a good chance might make the 12-team national tournament. This happens to be the first season for the 12-team tournament to decide who reigns supreme in college football. The Tigers start their season off at home on Faurot (fuh-RO) Field Thursday night, August 29th at 7 against the Murray State Racers who were just 2-9 last season. Missouri had a record of 11-2, had a ranking of 8th at the end of the season and they also won the Cotton Bowl over the Ohio State Buckeyes.
