ST LOUIS (News First) – After dropping game one of their three-game series, the St. Louis Cardinals ended up taking 2 of 3 from Milwaukee. The Cardinals shut out the Brewers 3 to 0 on Thursday in the series finale at Busch Stadium. Rookie Victor Scott II had 3 hits and scored a run while Mason Winn and Alec Burleson both had two hits and scored a run in the game. Andrew Kittredge got the win in relief, improving his record to 2-4 and Ryan Helsey got the last three outs in the game and picked up his 39th Major League-leading save. 5-6 Andre Pallante throws for the Birds Friday night when 63-64 St. Louis starts a three-game weekend series against the 71-56 Twins in Minnesota.
