JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo (News First) – A man from Indiana was injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Jefferson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Flucom Road just East of Kimberly Lane, south of Olympian Village when a 2023 Indian Springfield motorcycle driven by 65-year-old David P. Sherman of Monticello, Indiana attempted to turn left off Flucom Road, causing the motorcycle to overturn off the right side of the road. Sherman was moderately injured and was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
