POPLAR BLUFF, Mo (News First) – A bicyclist from Poplar Bluff has serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Butler County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 53, a half mile south of Poplar Bluff when the bicyclist, 66-year-old Edward C. Reed pulled into the path of a 2014 Buick Encore driven by 31-year-old Hannah Stanger of Blytheville, Arkansas. Reed received serious injuries and was flown to Regional One Health in Memphis.
