IRON COUNTY, Mo (News First) – A man from Vulcan received serious injuries after an A.T.V. accident Monday night in Iron County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 49, about seven-tenths of a mile north of Vulcan when a 2012 Yamaha YFZ driven by 53-year-old Arvil Hartley ran off the road and struck a fence, throwing Hartley from the 4-wheeler. Hartley was seriously injured and was flown to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis for treatment.
