CUBA, Mo (News First) – A man from Cuba, riding a motorized bicycle, was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene of the accident in Crawford County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened on ‘Z-Z’ Highway, just west of Holly Lane in Cuba when an unknown vehicle struck the front tire of the motorized bicycle ridden by 39-year-old Corey L. Abrams. The unknown vehicle then fled the scene. Abrams was seriously injured and had to be taken to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
