PARK HILLS, Mo. (News First) – The Mineral Area College men’s soccer team is off to a good start with their season. MAC has a record of 6-3 and they return to the pitch, on the road, on Saturday afternoon at 2 when the Cardinals face St. Charles. The Mineral Area soccer team will then be off for a week until their next game, also on the road, at St. Louis Community College on Saturday the 21st. The MAC men, through nine games, have outscored their opponents 24-13.
Sophomore Orran Mushet leads the Cardinals in scoring with 3 goals and 7 assists so far this season. Mushet is a forward and comes from Warrington, England. There are 21 players on the roster from England and Scotland. The Cards men’s soccer team has five local players on the roster…three from Farmington, one from Perryville, and another player from Poplar Bluff.
