High water reported

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 27, 2024) – As the remnants of  Hurricane Helene makes its way across the commonwealth, water in various places around District 2 is on the rise. Motorists should be aware of areas in their area that are frequently impacting by flood water and proceed with caution. Water can rise quickly and with very little warning.

Turn around, don’t drown.

Caldwell County
KY 91N is reduced to one lane at the 19-19.2 mm due to high water.

Hopkins County
KY 3059 is open with high water between the 2-3 mm.

Henderson County
KY 1557 is closed due to high water between the 3-4 mm.

Union County
KY 492 is open with high water between 9-10.5 mm.
KY 760 is open with high water between 0-2.6 mm.

Webster County
KY 874 is open with high water between 1.8-2 mm.
