FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (News First) – A 56-year-old Union man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Franklin County yesterday afternoon (Sun, Sept 29th). According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 1:55 pm on Pottery Road near Route A when a 1999 Harley Davidson driven by Curtis Long failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the left side of the road. Long was wearing a safety device, but was not insured. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington for treatment.
