BISMARCK, Mo. (News First) – The school year is already flying by. A milestone for the 2024-2025 school year was hit Wednesday in the Bismarck School District. High School Principal Abe Warren explains.
“Last day of first quarter and wrapping things up in the middle of our fall sports seasons in the middle of getting grades turned in for teachers and we’ll have parent-teacher conferences next week so got a lot going on,” Warren says. “We’re gonna be October 24th from 1 to 6 p.m. so we’ll have a half day. We’d love to see as many parents as we can have come out and see what good things our kids have done this quarter.”
Some Bismarck High School notes, an Afterschool Book Club will meet for the first time on Tuesday afternoon, October 29th from 3 until 4:30 in the High School Library. The club will meet every Tuesday afternoon and will feature book discussions, refreshments, games and other activities. Also, the Bismarck Class of 2026 will host a Halloween Trivia event fundraiser on Friday night, November 1st, starting at 6 in the elementary school gymnasium. Participants can bring their own snacks, there’s a silent auction and even a costume contest for individuals or you can enter the costume contest as a team.
