ALMO, Ky. — Kentucky State Police, Post 1, responded to a call from Calloway County Dispatch just before 8 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 5, after a report of a deceased man found beside a roadway in the Almo community. Troopers and detectives arrived at the 3800 block of Almo-Shiloh Road and identified the victim as David A. Dicke, 34, of Paducah, Kentucky.

An autopsy confirmed that Dicke died from multiple gunshot wounds. Following an investigation, Shelby B. Junior, 43, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, was charged with murder. He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Jail.
