SOUTHEAST MISSOURI (News First) – The Portageville Lady Bulldogs and Scott County Central Bravettes had the honor to kick off the girls’ basketball season across the state of Missouri Thursday night. It was all Portageville, giving their hometown crowd a big 88-11 win. Portageville won’t play again until the River City Classic Tournament takes place, scheduled for December 2nd through the 6th. But Scott County Central gets no rest. They play at Puxico tonight (Fri, Nov 22).
