FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – The City of Farmington will probably pay a pretty penny to clean up and repair a portion of Engler Park that vandals hit recently.

“There was some damage in the park,” says Farmington City Communications Manager. “There were a few vehicles that were intentionally off-roading. So they tore up one of the fields there at Engler Park. They were observed on surveillance video. Fortunately, one of them, the police were able to track down and have that person’s information, but there is still another one that they’re trying to track down at this point. It was pretty significant damage. We have some pictures that we posted on our Facebook page, but some pretty large ruts in a pretty large area.”

The City of Farmington is also offering a $1,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of the driver of the second vehicle involved in this case.
