JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (News First) – A man from Arnold was injured early Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle accident in Jefferson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on the southbound I-55 ramp to Route ‘M’ when a 2024 Nissan Rogue driven by a 35-year-old man from Arnold, traveled onto a raised concrete island, striking a one-way sign, the vehicle continued through the intersection, went across another concrete island, ran off the south side of ‘M’, struck a concrete guardrail, the vehicle then skidded across Metropolitan Boulevard and overturned. The driver received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis for treatment.
