What are the MAAA Conference standings going to be looking like this boys’ basketball season? We posed that question to Arcadia Valley Tigers’ coach David Prater. He likes two teams in particular.
“Formerton Stat, they’re bringing back two kids that can really know how to put the ball in the hole with Cannon Roth and Logan Chipper. Then Potosi has that Carter Whitley over there. I mean, as a man amongst the boys, so I think there’ll be at the top and then there’s gonna be any given night teams after that. I feel like if you don’t give your team that best shot, you might go get beat,” Prater tells us.
Arcadia Valley is 3-1 on the season so far. They will be in Piedmont Friday night to take on the 0-4 Clearwater Tigers. MAAA Conference play for Arcadia Valley begins January 10th at home against the West County Bulldogs who took 2nd place in the A.V. Thanksgiving Tournament.
