PEVELY, MO (News First) – Ray and Sue Marler, along with Ken and Ann Schrader will be selling the raceway in Pevely. Josh Carroll has agreed to purchase Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Carroll is also the promoter of the Brownstown Bullring, located in Brownstown, Illinois. Carroll says he plans to do some upgrades to the Pevely track to enhance the racing experience for the fans and the race car drivers.

In a news release, Carroll says the first thing he will do is shape the racetrack like it used to be and ensure they serve up excellent food. He also says he plans on having the World of Outlaws back to the track. The sale of the track is close to happening but not completely official. The Marler’s and Schrader’s have owned the I-55 race track for 29 years. The third of a mile clay oval has been in operation in Pevely since 1979.
