FARMINGTON, MO (News First) – Three members of a Valley Mines family are dead following an accident in St. Francois County on Christmas Eve. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 7:30 pm on Route OO south of Route F in Farmington when a 28-year-old female driving a 2004 Ford F-150 truck struck a tree off the road. She and a six-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene while the four-year-old was transported to St. Louis Children’s Hospital where they were pronounced dead. All were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
