Story update: The McCracken County Coroner’s office says the victim is identified as 69-year-old Billy G. Dillworth.
PADUCAH, KY – On January 20, 2024, at around 5:08 pm, deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, along with other first responders, rushed to a residential fire in the 11000 block of Blandville Road.
Upon their arrival, the residence was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from both Concord Fire Department and West McCracken Fire Department successfully brought the fire under control.
Following a thorough investigation, it was determined that the owner of the residence was found deceased inside.
McCracken County DES (Department of Emergency Services) promptly responded and provided assistance at the scene, including managing traffic control.
The fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
