SIKESTON, Mo. (NewsFirst) — An East Prairie man is in jail without bond after a person was found shot, and pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sikeston Department of Public Safety reported that on Sunday, November 12, 2023, officers arrested a subject at a residence in the 100 block of N. Handy, and are now releasing the name of the victim, Anthony Evans of Sikeston. The arrest was made with the assistance of the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Scott County Sheriff’s Department.
The subject, who has been identified as Ethan Paul, 19, is currently being held on a no bond warrant with charges of first-degree-murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, and armed criminal action. Paul is also being held on a no bond warrant out of Cape Girardeau County for first-degree robbery.
